WIOA– The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) was signed into law on July 22, 2014. WIOA is designed to help job seekers access employment, education, training, and support services to succeed in the labor market and to match employers with the skilled workers they need to compete in the global economy.

Adult Eligibility
- Be 18 years of age or older;
- Be a citizen or noncitizen authorized to work in the US and,
- Unemployed or laid off
- Meet military selective service registration requirements (Males only)

Youth Eligibility
- 18-24 years old
- Not Attending School
- Not Employed

Dislocated Worker Eligibility
- Unemployed and receiving unemployment benefits?
- Laid off by your Employer
- If you have Exhausted your Unemployment Benefits

Veteran Eligibility
- Discharged or released from service under any condition other than a condition classified as dishonorable
- A spouse of any veteran who has a total disability resulting from a Service-connected disability, as evaluated by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
- Copy of your DD-214

Prison to Employment
- 18 years of age or older
- Unemployed or Underemployed
- Los Angeles County Resident with the legal right to work in the United States.
- Formerly Incarcerated or Currently Justice Involved
- Released from custody after January 1, 2020
